We need to verify the Legal Details of your business. To achieve this we check your ABN and Business/Company name to make sure they match.

If you already know your ABN and correct Legal Name, then just key them in along with your Trading Name (same as your Legal Name if you don't have a Trading Name) and click Validate. You must enter all 3 items for validate to work. When you click Validate, the system will check the details you have entered and display them with any automated corrections. You will then need to confirm the details by clicking Yes or reject them by clicking No. Clicking Yes will take you to the next step in the process. Clicking No will take you back to the initial screen allowing you to try again.

If you don't know your ABN and/or Legal Name, we can help you find them. You should at least know one of the 3 items. For example, if you know your ABN, enter that into the ABN field and then click the Search button next to the ABN field. This will do a search of the Australian Business Register and if the ABN is valid, it will display the ABN along with the Legal Name and possibly a trading name. If you belive the information is correct, click on select. This will return you to the validate screen with all 3 fields filled out for you. You can then click Validate
